Hurray! Even the FBI can't prove that the Blackwater guards were at fault in this terrible incident. The odds are that the insurgents did fire and were hiding in the crowd to get as many innocents killed as possible. There is no proof to contradict the story that the guards told.

FBI scientists were unable to match bullets from a deadly 2007 Baghdad shooting to guns carried by Blackwater Worldwide security guards, according to laboratory reports that leave open the possibility that insurgents also fired in the crowded intersection.

Five Blackwater guards face manslaughter and weapons charges for their role in the shooting, which left 17 Iraqis dead and inflamed anti-U.S. sentiment abroad. Prosecutors say the contractors launched an unprovoked attack on civilians using machine guns and grenade launchers. The guards maintain their convoy was ambushed by insurgents.

The FBI lab reports, obtained by The Associated Press from someone not involved in the criminal case, allow for both possibilities.

Investigators recovered .30-caliber bullets from a survivor, a Blackwater truck and around Baghdad's Nisoor Square. Scientists could not determine whether those bullets came from .30-caliber Blackwater machine guns.

The AK-47 rifles favored by many Iraqi insurgents also fire .30-caliber bullets.

More stupid insanity from the escaped monkeys who are running this administration.

Send all these killing machines into the homes of the lawyers who are volunteering to defend them. Allow the lawyers to really get to know their clients, before they die.

Keep the terrorists OUT OF AMERICA! What good can come of allowing these pig lovers a chance at more Americans?

A Virginia jail could be the next home for Guantanamo Bay inmates.

The maximum security jail in Alexandra, Va. -- home to approximately 460 inmates -- is under contract to take federal inmates who are tried at the courthouse just a few blocks away.

Among them could be former Al Qaeda operatives detained in Guantanamo Bay like Abu Zubaydah, Al Qaeda's operations chief, or Abd Al-Nashiri, the alleged planner of the U.S.S. Cole attack, Alexandria sheriff Dana Lawhorne told FOX News.

"We are a maximum security jail, so the answer is yes," Lawhorne said when asked about the possibility that Gitmo detainees could be transferred to the jail.

Lawhorne said that although most inmates are booked at city jail on local charges, Al Qaeda operative Zacarias Moussaoui was detained there in a separate unit on the third floor for five years.

Lawhorne said he and his team were given specific instructions for Moussaoui's imprisonment, which included no contact with television, radio, or other inmates.

"He had to be isolated. He could not be within earshot -- of television, radios, and other people. It takes a lot of space to accomplish that," Lawhorne said.

The jail, built in 1987, is surrounded by condominiums, government offices, and a luxury hotel just a few hundred feet from the courthouse door.

In a letter sent to Attorney General Eric Holder two weeks ago, Virginia Rep. Frank Wolf, a Republican, inquired about the housing and handling of detainees at Alexandria's jail because he said all signs indicate that Gitmo detainees will be transferred there. Holder's office has not yet responded, according to Wolf.

A British police raid on safe deposit boxes has revealed an "Aladdin's cave of criminality" that spans murder, money laundering, pedophilia, people trafficking and drug running. The findings have led to 1,000 inquiries around the world.

More than 3,500 boxes were raided by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Directorate in June last year.

They seized $51.5 million of cash in various denominations, of which $1.5 million has still to be claimed, dozens of passports, cocaine, firearms, forged banking bonds, including one for $4.95 million, suitcases full of gold and cannabis.

The contents of some of the boxes are being investigated by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, The Times has learned.

Seven hundred of the box holders are being referred to Customs for suspected tax evasion involving $22 million and officers have discovered a significant number of "ghosts" - people who have never paid any tax at all.

Elephant tusks worth $58,000 were also confiscated after a suspect's home was searched.

Police inquiries have led all over the world and officers expect the investigations to run for years to come. So far 11 people have been charged in connection with the raid, codenamed Operation Rize, and 40 have been arrested.

More than half of the boxes are thought to be connected to criminal activity.

The culture of Democrat corruption continues! I am shocked that a Liberal caught on video slashing his girlfriends face open with a broken bottle would deny the charges. Shocked I tell you. Honest.

What would the Media and the Dems be saying if this had been a Republican?

NEW YORK -- A freshman state senator sworn in to office despite allegations he slashed his girlfriend's face with broken glass in a jealous rage has been indicted on domestic assault charges, prosecutors said Monday.

A grand jury in Queens indicted Hiram Monserrate on three counts of second-degree felony assault and three counts of third-degree misdemeanor assault. Arraignment is expected later this week. He faces seven years in prison if convicted on the most serious charges.

Monserrate, a Democrat who was in Albany on Monday for a legislative session, issued a statement saying he did not commit a crime.

"I've said all along this was accident. The district attorney's politically motivated decision to pursue this case doesn't change the fact that this was an accident," he said.

The 41-year-old former police officer was arrested after Karla Giraldo's face was slashed on Dec. 19 at his New York City home. The gash over her eye required 25 stitches. Both said the incident was an accident.

Monserrate told police he tripped while holding a glass of water and that the glass accidentally hit Giraldo.

But authorities say evidence, including surveillance videos, painted a picture of a heated argument and a frightened, bleeding woman in distress.

According to the police report, Giraldo, 29, initially said she was assaulted, then changed her account after learning officers planned to arrest Monserrate. She later told police she did not wish to press charges.

After a closed-door meeting with fellow Democrats in Albany Monday, Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith said Monserrate asked to temporarily step down as chairman of the Consumer Affairs Committee. Smith had already withheld Monserrate's $12,500 stipend until the criminal case concluded. Monserrate will retain all his other duties and collect his $79,500 base pay.

So, the Friends of Ayers at the White House are fighting to cover this all up? What a shock.

If the Feds are refusing to investigate further and are trying to keep the locals from investigating by keeping the case open, what recourse do the police and the families of the victims, much less the victims themselves, have? If the Feds refuse to prosecute and allow a jury to hear the facts, can the victims sue this terrorist and the people who have supported him for all these years? I think they should!

Ayers and his wife have killed people and made a profit from it. That is illegal and they should be stopped. Some one needs to sue them into the monetary poverty that matches their moral poverty.

The Obama Justice Department instructed San Francisco police officials not to comment after top law enforcement officers there signed a letter accusing Weathermen radical Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, of being directly behind the 1970 bombing of San Francisco's police station that killed one sergeant and wounded nine others.

At a press conference March 12 directed by activist Cliff Kincaid of America's Survival Inc, the leaders of the San Francisco Police Officers' Association made public a letter pointing a finger at Ayers and Dohrn that demands those responsible for the bombing be brought to justice.

"There are irrefutable and compelling reasons to believe that Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn are largely responsible for the bombing of Park Police Station," the officers stated in the letter.

The letter called for the U.S. to bring "those responsible for the murder of Sgt. Brian McDonnell and the injuries to other officers to the justice they have so long eluded."

According to this report, which I have obtained a copy of, almost everyone I know in law enforcement and other emergency services will have to be reclassified as militia or terrorists. I am assuming that people who have fit more than a couple of the categories will need to be treated as terrorists. Well, maybe not terrorists since that is out of favor with this administration.

I got it! They will treat these scum like Republicans! Republicans who tap feet under stalls. Republicans who don't like tax cheats. Republicans who are conservative. Republicans who are capitalists. Even worse, they will treat them like the Christians they are!

Too bad the people listed here are not Muslims or Liberals who are FAR more likely to act violently and irrationally.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/03/23/fusion-centers-expand-criteria-identify-militia-members/

MIAC is one of 58 so-called "fusion centers" nationwide that were created by the Department of Homeland Security, in part, to collect local intelligence that authorities can use to combat terrorism and related criminal activities. More than $254 million from fiscal years 2004-2007 went to state and local governments to support the fusion centers, according to the DHS Web site.

During a press conference last week in Kansas City, Mo., DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano called fusion centers the "centerpiece of state, local, federal intelligence-sharing" in the future.

"Let us not forget the reason we are here, the reason we have the Department of Homeland Security and the reason we now have fusion centers, which is a relatively new concept, is because we did not have the capacity as a country to connect the dots on isolated bits of intelligence prior to 9/11," Napolitano said, according to a DHS transcript.

"That's why we started this.... Now we know that it's not just the 9/11-type incidents but many, many other types of incidents that we can benefit from having fusion centers that share information and product and analysis upwards and horizontally."

But some say the fusion centers are going too far in whom they identify as potential threats to American security.

People who supported former third-party presidential candidates like Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and former Georgia Rep. Bob Barr are cited in the report, in addition to anti-abortion activists and conspiracy theorists who believe the United States, Mexico and Canada will someday form a North American Union.

"Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups," the report reads. "It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty or Libertarian material."

Other potential signals of militia involvement, according to the report, are possession of the Gagsden "Don't Tread on Me" flag or the widely available anti-income tax film "America: Freedom to Fascism."

For more information on the Fusion Centers, see the FBI.

i love the religion of peace. really! they are a constant source of dark amusement as they beat anyone who thinks they are not peaceful.

A Christian minister in London who has clashed with Muslims on his television show says he was brutally attacked by three men who warned him, "if you go back to the studio, we'll break your legs," the Daily Mail reported on Sunday.

The newspaper said Reverend Noble Samuel was driving to his studio when a car pulled over in front of him. A man got out and came over to ask him directions.

"He put his hand into my window, which was half open, and grabbed my hair and opened the door," Samuel said. "He grabbed my cross and pulled it off and it fell on the floor. He was swearing. The other two men came from the car and took my laptop and Bible."

Police were treating the incident as a "faith hate" assault and were looking for three Asian men.

Pakistani-born Samuel, 48, hosts the hour-long Asian Gospel Show on the Venus satellite channel from studios in Wembley, England.

During the live broadcast, station owner Tahir Al, a Muslim, appeared on-air to condemn the attack.

I am very glad that I am not in political level public safety any more! Being a semi-retired consultant is much safer. If I make a slip that the PC police dislike, I just get a warning and fewer calls. It is hard for them to do anything else! Can't take my pension! I do pity the law enforcement people in the modern world.

Where can we send the lawyers and hippies to get them out of our hair?

http://www.examiner.com/x-2684-Law-Enforcement-Examiner~y2009m3d14-Obama-ignores-madness-of-fighting-politically-correct-terrorism-war

President Barack Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder announced on Friday that the term enemy combatant will no longer be used by the federal government to describe enemy combatants captured on the battlefield during counterterrorism and counterinsurgency military operations. To many law enforcement officers and military personnel, this action is the epitome of politically correct newspeak.
As time passes and the events of September 11th become more distant, the voices of America's political-correctness orthodoxy have increased their volume and intensity. They now feel safe in questioning Homeland Security tactics to combat terrorism and are attempting to turn public opinion against law-enforcement leaders.
A major weapon in their arsenal is the accusation of racial profiling by US police and security forces. Another weapon in the war against the war on terrorism is the distortions made regarding the Patriot Act. When one considers the risks to lives and property posed by terrorists, political correctness has now become a weapon of mass destruction.

Most clear thinking Americans were shocked when 9-11 Commission member and former US Secretary of the Navy John Lehman revealed a disturbing fact: the Federal Aviation Administration will be hitting American airlines with stiff penalties for even the appearance of any racial profiling of Middle-Easterners. One airline paid out a huge sum of money to Arab males who filed law suits alleging racial profiling, as well. Yet none of this appeared in the commission's final report.

This leaves many law-enforcement officers incredulously asking: what kind of terrorism war is this? It seems national security and public safety are taking a back-seat to political correctness which in turn thwarts our efforts to detect terrorists and their accomplices.

I think it is nice that someone is documenting the culture of corruption with the Democrats. Since the Media won't report this.

Above the Law: A Handy Guide to Democrat Corruption

It's getting more difficult by the day to keep track of which Democrats are involved with exactly what corrupt and/or ethically challenged activities. Earlier this week, YANSID (my handy new acronym that means "yet another new scandal involving Democrats") was discovered.

This is the story of one of the stupidest people in the world. I think they left the robber's name out of this so that he would be safe from the ridicule him and his family will inevitably receive once his name is released in court.

What a moron!

Fox Point, Wis. -- A robber gets more than he bargained for when he targets a Tae Kwon Do studio in suburban Milwaukee.

The robber thought he could quietly slip in and out of David Kang's studio in Fox Point with some loot.

What he didn't realize is that he would encounter a Tae Kwon Do master who wasn't about to let him off the hook. Kang was giving a private lesson Tuesday and heard someone in his office. Kang found the man going through his closet, grabbed him by the neck and sat him down while he called police.

The robber took off and Kang gave chase, finally catching up with the man and holding him by the neck until police arrived.

This is my place to vent a little and get things off my chest. I am a retired Marine who has interests in WMDs. Since WMD events are, thankfully, few in number, I spend a lot of time reading about people likely to use them. This takes me on some interesting tangents. I travel alot in my post retirement career and do not always have time to comment as I post articles. Give me a day or two to catch up if I skip comments, please.
