Authorities said Robert Stewart, 45, went on a terrifying rampage in the Pinelake Health and Rehab center on Sunday morning, killing seven residents and a nurse and wounding three other people.

He was stopped by a single shot to the chest fired by Justin Garner, a decorated police officer responding to a 911 call. Stewart wounded Garner three times in the leg as they traded gunfire in a hallway, McKenzie said.

"Whether he realizes it now, he will hopefully realize someday how many lives he has saved," McKenzie said, adding: "A lot more lives would have been lost, I honestly feel, had he not done what he did. For certain."

More stupid insanity from the escaped monkeys who are running this administration.

Send all these killing machines into the homes of the lawyers who are volunteering to defend them. Allow the lawyers to really get to know their clients, before they die.

Keep the terrorists OUT OF AMERICA! What good can come of allowing these pig lovers a chance at more Americans?

A Virginia jail could be the next home for Guantanamo Bay inmates.

The maximum security jail in Alexandra, Va. -- home to approximately 460 inmates -- is under contract to take federal inmates who are tried at the courthouse just a few blocks away.

Among them could be former Al Qaeda operatives detained in Guantanamo Bay like Abu Zubaydah, Al Qaeda's operations chief, or Abd Al-Nashiri, the alleged planner of the U.S.S. Cole attack, Alexandria sheriff Dana Lawhorne told FOX News.

"We are a maximum security jail, so the answer is yes," Lawhorne said when asked about the possibility that Gitmo detainees could be transferred to the jail.

Lawhorne said that although most inmates are booked at city jail on local charges, Al Qaeda operative Zacarias Moussaoui was detained there in a separate unit on the third floor for five years.

Lawhorne said he and his team were given specific instructions for Moussaoui's imprisonment, which included no contact with television, radio, or other inmates.

"He had to be isolated. He could not be within earshot -- of television, radios, and other people. It takes a lot of space to accomplish that," Lawhorne said.

The jail, built in 1987, is surrounded by condominiums, government offices, and a luxury hotel just a few hundred feet from the courthouse door.

In a letter sent to Attorney General Eric Holder two weeks ago, Virginia Rep. Frank Wolf, a Republican, inquired about the housing and handling of detainees at Alexandria's jail because he said all signs indicate that Gitmo detainees will be transferred there. Holder's office has not yet responded, according to Wolf.

Amen.
The Christians are told over and over that resisting Islam is an act of evil, while becoming Muslims and bombing daycares, malls, and police stations is an act of salvation. I am not sure where the Liberals get this moronic concept, but I think they just hate anything that has been associated with civilization.

We need the Reformed Christian Church to re-arrise and stand up for the rights that we have all fought so hard for in the past. Why won't they? Are they so afriad of the anarchists and Liberals that they can just sit in their temples and bugger each other?

Remember the past and look to the future. The Church of England is in full surrender mode and praying to be allowed a few crumbs under the table. If they were to stand up for England they would be more loved and their churches would still be full. Their lack of leadership has killed the Church. May it rest in peace. If the Muslims allow it to be remembered.

http://www.melaniephillips.com/articles-new/?p=655

Dr Nazir-Ali's outspoken opposition to such developments has made him powerful enemies within the church. Last summer, a group of influential churchmen met to work out how to sideline those 'aggressive' Christians who were 'increasing the level of fear' by talking about the threat from radical Islam. Among those in their sights was the Bishop of Rochester.

In any sane world, Michael Nazir-Ali -- a church leader whose intellect is matched by his courage and insight -- should be appointed Archbishop of Canterbury to defend our society at this most dangerous time. Instead, he is out.

The question now arises whether he will become the effective leader of the church in the Third World, which is on the edge of schism over gay rights and women priests.

If that were to happen, he could become a formidable adversary of the current craven church leadership and the prevailing doctrine of appeasement and religious submission.

But for the meantime, his departure threatens to make the church even more irrelevant, and its capacity to prevent this country from going under weaker than ever before.

I have always liked Ms Harmon because she is hot and always plays an intelligent character. She is not a bimbo or brain dead like so many of the popular actresses. I am glad to see that she is willing to keep her backbone!

On the other hand, I am so tired of Liberals who only see President Obama's skin color and then want to drop to their knees in front of him. They are morons who think that just because a guy is 1/4 black he is better than any white person, even if the white person is a genius. Not that I am calling McCain a genius, but comparatively he is closer to it than the Liberal Messiah.

When the great black icon Marty King said he had a dream of a color blind America, he did not tell whites to ignore color and blacks to become obsessed with it. He wanted us to stop paying attention to it. Period! I know more blacks and Liberals who are concerned with it than any other group.

Ms Harmon, I would love to have you meet my wife and I for dinner sometime. Your "women's murder club" movies are some of her favorites, which I watched for ulterior reasons. Don't let the Liberal racists get you down! Keep logic in your life and you will be fine. As I am sure you know. Even if you might want to try and shake some intelligence into the heads of these racist morons.

Angie Harmon: I'm Not Racist Because I Disagree With Obama

Angie Harmon is not afraid to come out and say she doesn't like how President Obama is handling the job -- but she's sick of having to defend herself from being deemed a racist.

"Here's my problem with this, I'm just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist," Harmon told Tarts at Thursday's Los Angeles launch of the new eyelash-growing formula, Latisse. "But it has nothing to do with it, I don't care what color he is. I'm just not crazy about what he's doing and I heard all about this, and he's gonna do that and change and change, so okay ... I'm still dressing for a recession over here buddy and we've got unemployment at an all-time high and that was his number one thing and that's the thing I really don't appreciate. If I'm going to disagree with my President, that doesn't make me a racist. If I was to disagree with W, that doesn't make me racist. It has nothing to do with it, it is ridiculous."

Speaking of dislikes, the starlet has also had enough of the double-standards in the media.

"I do think McCain would have done a better job, only because I think he has more experience. I also think if W or John McCain or Reagan would have gone and done a talk show, the backlash would have been so huge and in his face, and 'What is our president doing? How unclassy!' But Obama does it and no one says anything," Harmon said.

And in spite of the scornful opinions most of her Tinseltown counterparts have shared on Gov. Sarah Palin, Harmon remains a true fan.

"I admire any kind of woman like her. My whole motto is to know what I stand for and know what I don't stand for and have the courage to live my life accordingly and she does exactly that. The fact that this woman has made the decisions she's made and literally lived her life according to that and takes heat for it is absolutely disgusting to me," she added. "People cannot look at this woman. I really think they're afraid of her and her morals, ethics and values and the fact that she hangs on them. Is she the most experienced person in the world? But she was running to be the Vice President, so we then put the most inexperienced person as the President. That didn't make any sense to me."

However Harmon is definitely in the Hollywood minority when it comes to her criticism of Obama as other lasses at the Latisse party were quick to advocate their unequivocal support.

"The sort of criticism over the last couple of weeks is a bit unfounded, he's been in office for barely any time and I think he inherited a lot on his plate and he's doing a pretty remarkable job," quipped Mandy Moore. "I think it's cool that he went on Leno and I watched the "60 minutes" interview as well last week. The guy is just so articulate and he is so well versed in something that is so new to him and I think he has a good team around him. It sounds cliché, but he makes me feel proud to be an American."

Debra Messing also told Tarts that our new President is not only meeting her expectations, but going far beyond.

"He is thoughtful and considerate and he gets all the information before he speaks which I think is a wonderful quality for the ruler of the free world to have," she explained.

The ladies of "Entourage" certainly showed their Obama-loyalty too.

"It's not an over night process. It's going to get worse before it gets better; we're all kind of in the same boat now. Everybody's broke and everybody's struggling and he makes me feel like I know him and that I know Michelle and that they're like us and they're out to try to save the USA. It's just an amazing period to watch him take on these challenges and everyday in the news to hear about AIG or possibly global currency changing, it's incredible. He's facing big challenges and he's got a lot of support and I'm just praying things get better," Debi Mazar said, while co-star Perrey Reeves added that Obama is a "wonderful leader" and she's looking forward to his future endeavors.

When NBC first ran with a story about this, I laughed and cheered. Now that the story is changing and there are three reported strikes, I am having a harder time believing it.

Not that either the US or Israelis are incapable of this, except politically, but it is very unlikely that this is the results of either airstrikes or drones. One strike might work, but three?

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2009/03/exclusive-three.html

ABC News' Luis Martinez reports: Israel has conducted three military strikes against targets in Sudan since January in an effort to prevent what were believed to be Iranian weapons shipments from reaching Hamas in the Gaza Strip, ABC News has learned.

Earlier this week, CBSNews.com was the first to report that Israel had conducted an airstrike in January against a convoy carrying weapons north into Egypt to be smuggled into the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.

But actually, since January, Israel has conducted a total of three military strikes against smugglers transporting what were believed to be Iranian weapons shipments destined for Gaza, a U.S. official told ABC News.

The information matches recent reports from Sudanese officials of two airstrikes in the desert of eastern Sudan and the sinking of a ship in the Red Sea carrying weapons.

Jonathan Peled, a spokesman for the Israeli Embassy in Washington, would only say, "No comment," when contacted by ABC News on the matter.

Sudanese officials initially said this week that 39 people riding in 17 trucks were killed in a mid-January airstrike conducted by an unidentified aircraft in a desert area north of the Red Sea port of Port Sudan.

Today, a Sudanese Foreign Ministry representative said there were two separate bombing raids against smugglers in January and February. The Sudanese minister for highways was more specific, saying the airstrikes took place Jan. 27 and Feb. 11.

Arabic broadcaster Al-Jazeera also reported today a Sudanese official's claim that Israel had sunk a ship carrying weapons.

Israeli officials continue to refuse to confirm or deny the reports of airstrikes, but Thursday Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said, "Israel hits every place it can in order to stop terror, near and far."

In January, the United States signed an agreement with Israel to stop arms smuggling into Gaza. At the time, Israel was conducting a military operation in the Gaza Strip in retaliation for Hamas' firing of rockets on Israeli towns.

Shortly after the agreement was signed, the U.S. Navy twice boarded a Cypriot ship in the Red Sea that was traveling from Iran to Syria and believed to be carrying Iranian weapons bound for Hamas.

After the boardings were inconclusive, the United States asked Egypt and Cyprus to search the vessel when it made ports of call. Cypriot authorities ultimately found material that could be used to manufacture munitions, which they described as a violation of the U.N. ban on Iranian arms exports.

After the Media have tried to make the story about the Israelis and the US, it would be a shame not to elaborate upon the malfeasance of the Iranians and their lackeys.

A better report is at Report: Israel Attacked Sudan 3X Near Egyptian Border

So who did bomb the Iranian arms trucks in Sudan?

and also:

Sudan: Questions on an Airstrike
STRATFOR Today » March 26, 2009 | 1357 GMT

Reports emerged March 26 of an airstrike on a convoy of suspected arms smugglers in Sudan in January. Information is still sketchy at this point, and the story has unraveled with each new statement, but the report appears to have originated in Sudan, with Sudanese officials pointing fingers at the United States. (This comes after the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar al Bashir, who has maintained a defiant position despite the pressure.) A CBS report then emerged citing U.S. officials that in turn placed responsibility in Israel's lap.

At the moment, these reports raise more questions than answers.

These reports have already been circulated across various media outlets, and most reports read identically. Where did they come from, who leaked them and why now?

Are the reports accurate? At this point, the reports suggest that a 17-truck convoy was attacked north of the Sudanese city of Port Sudan (near the Egyptian border) by aircraft, killing some 39 people. The convoy was supposedly carrying arms bound for Hamas in Gaza -- weapons that originated from Iran. (STRATFOR has noted connections between Iran and Sudan.)

If accurate, what weapons were being smuggled? Small-arms ammunition, mortars and the occasional Grad artillery rocket? Advanced anti-tank guided missiles?

Who pulled off the reported attack and why? If reports of the scale of this attack are accurate, it would have taken more than a single unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to pull it off, even the more heavily armed MQ-9 Reaper. The U.S. military operates out of Camp Lemonier in Djibouti, the base of operations for counterterrorism efforts in the Horn of Africa. Aircraft as large as the AC-130 gunship are thought to operate from there, though most of the presence there is thought to consist of CIA and special operations force elements. The Pentagon certainly has the assets in place to accomplish an operation like this.

It is a 600-mile flight down the Red Sea and the coast of Egypt before Israel planes could arrive at the Sudanese coast, and then get further inland for the actual strike. But Israel has aerial refueling capability and strike fighters capable of the inland leg that could then be refueled over the Red Sea before returning to base. Israel thus also certainly has the capability to do something like this.

Were any other countries' airspace violated?

Why were the Egyptian authorities not notified? The decision to proceed with a direct strike that would take significant planning suggests that it was more important to destroy the convoy immediately than to trust the Egyptians with the intelligence.

Finally, this was not a strike of opportunity carried out by a UAV that happened to be in the area. As mentioned, if reports of the scale of the attack are accurate, refueling aircraft had to be in place and manned strike aircraft armed and briefed on the mission. Even on a contracted timetable, that takes actionable intelligence with significant longevity.

What was this intelligence and where did it come from?

All of this leads me to believe that the Israelis are not to blame. I can easily picture the Jew-haters in the current White House and their Media butt-boys salivating at the chance to blame the Israelis for dead terrorists, especially if they know better. I can also picture a small group of Israeli commandos doing this with drones and direct fire missiles,

If you can think of a better idea, let me know.

This is horrible, but it does seem that anyone, no matter how careful, can have an accident. A silver lining, of a sort, is that this new anti-virus is finally getting human tests.

I hope this Frau gets better. One, even a clumsy genius is still deserving to live. Two, I really hope that the vaccine works and can save even more lives. Three, no one deserves to have Ebola. It is one nasty bug!

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,511096,00.html

BERLIN -- It's a nightmare scenario worthy of a sci-fi movie script: A scientist accidentally pricks her finger with a needle used to inject the deadly Ebola virus into lab mice.

But in this case, it really happened -- to an unidentified 45-year-old woman in Germany.

Within hours of the accident on March 12, several of the scientist's colleagues held a trans-Atlantic telephone conference to map out a way to save her life.

Within 24 hours, an experimental vaccine -- never before tried on humans -- was on its way to Germany from a lab in Canada.

Within 40 hours, the at-risk scientist was injected with the vaccine.

So far, so good. If the woman is still healthy on April 2, she can consider herself safe.

It's not a 100 percent certainty the researcher was actually infected with Ebola.

If she doesn't become infected, scientists may not know if it was the vaccine, or luck.

Three comments:

  • I guess England doesn't have a three strikes and you're out policy!

  • This guy is a doctor? Of what?? I thought terrorists are all poor and benighted because of Bush's policies in the 1990s? How can a doctor do this?

  • Damn Mormons are getting too pushy when they try to get us all to convert or else! We should nuke Salt Lake City!

Man Arrested Three Times on Terror Related Charges Also Raising Money for "Orphanage" that (shock) Turns Out Was Terrorist Training Camp

This is just so rich, I don't know where to start? The guys at National Terror Alert sent the story, so I'll link to them:

A British charity worker twice cleared of terror charges in this country is being hunted in Bangladesh after explosives were seized at an orphanage he founded.

In addition to making small arms, the orphanage/madrassa is suspected of being a training camp for Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh.

The good news? An update on the story from today is that Dr. Faisal Mostafa has been arrested in Bangladesh.

The bad news?

Mostafa was given a suspended sentence for trying to board a aeroplane at Manchester airport last November with a a gas-powered pistol in his suitcase.

In 2002, Mostafa was cleared of conspiracy to cause explosions, after a surveillance operation in Birmingham in 2000....

As well as being acquitted of the 2002 charges, Mostafa was cleared during a trial 13 years ago of conspiring to cause explosions.

By my count that's three terror related charges against Mostafa, not two. Why does it not surprise me one bit that a guy with a terror track record has been raising funds in Britain for a terrorist training camps in Bangladesh?

Back to National Terror Alert:

'The matter is of serious concern to us.'Mostafa, who has a PhD in chemistry from Manchester Polytechnic'

Ph.D. in chemistry. Terror supporter. Philanthropist. What could possibly go wrong?

When I read this, my reaction to the comment from the Archbishop was "HAHAHAHAHA!" Then I read the Resident's comment and laughed even harder! Is Opie admitting that his butch wife runs the roost? Of course! Without someone to tell him what to do he is just two big ears with a smile to join them.

At the White House's celebration of Greek Independence Day Wednesday afternoon, President Obama got a little unexpected flattery from Archbishop Demetrios, the head of the Greek Orthodox Church in the United States

Listing a series of challenges Obama will need to deal with as president, Demetrios predicted: Demetrios to Obama: "Following the brilliant example of Alexander the Great...you will be able to cut the Gordian knot of these unresolved issues."

Obama responded by making a face to the crowd, prompting laughter. And when he took the mic, he speculated on what the compliment could do for him at home.

"I will tell Michelle I have been compared to Alexander the Great. I will see if that gets me a little more respect," said Obama, who conceded: "She's still the boss."

Anyone who thought the new administration wasn't serious about fighting terrorism better just sit down and STFU! The new sheriff and his gang of euphemizers who won't discuss shooting straight have shown their mettle. They will put the fear of God Allah Teleprompter Jesus into those Islamist terrorists Disaster causing men overseas who keep blowing up creating localized incidents of an explosive nature where innocents are slaughtered inconvenienced in a big way.

WTF people? Do they really think they can change a few words and all of a sudden we are no longer at war with deranged devotees of Islam who are pretty sure what they are up to. They have no qualms about their Global Jihad to impose Sharia law and create a new Caliphate. Sorry for the straight talk there I wouldn't want to offend anyone or make them feel uncomfortable.

I wish this wasn't symptomatic of the mindset of our moral betters on the left, but I have lived among them enough to know that they really believe the bad guys are simply chafed that we call them what they are names. And if we would quit classifying people who do evil things as evil then we wouldn't have to hear the word evil and voila bunnies, unicorns and decaf soy lattes for everyone. To call them dangerously naive is an understatement and these are the folks who are going to negotiate with Ahm-a-nuttah-job, Putin and the Chinese? We are in deep shite.

LAHORE: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued a list of members of banned outfits and ordered all banks to scrutinise the list before opening accounts or transferring money, sources told Daily Times on Tuesday.

A bank official, seeking anonymity, said the purpose of the list was to stop the banned outfits from operating their accounts and transferring money. However, people would face delays in opening accounts or transferring money, as it would take time to scrutinise the list, he added.

SBP spokesman Syed Waseemuddin said Pakistan was bound to follow the instructions of the United Nations, which had banned several religious outfits for their alleged involvement in terrorism. He said the list, provided by the UN, was regularly updated.

Last year, the United Nations Security Council had placed sanctions against Jamatud Dawa, a front organisation for
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LT), declaring it a terrorist organisation.

The council panel has designated four men linked to the Mumbai attacks as terrorists subject to sanctions.

Here is the feel good story of the day! Enjoy it!

BANGKOK -- A Thai firefighter dressed as Spiderman to rescue an autistic boy who climbed onto a third-floor balcony and dangled his legs over the side because he was nervous on his first day of school.

Firefighter Somchai Yoosabai was called in after the 11-year-old boy's teachers and mother failed to coax him off the ledge on Monday, he said in a telephone interview Wednesday.

"He was nervous about the first day at school, and he was asking for his mother," Somchai said. "He cried and refused to let any of us get close to him."

Overhearing a conversation between the boy's mother and his teachers about his love for comics and superheros, Somchai rushed back to the fire station to change into a Spiderman costume before swinging into action.

"I told him Spiderman is here to save you. No monster will hurt you now," Somchai said. "Then I told him to walk slowly toward me. I was very nervous that he might have slipped if he got too excited and ran."

Somchai, who keeps costume of Spiderman and a Japanese superhero Ultraman to liven up fire drills at schools, said the teary-eyed boy broke into a smile and started walking into his arms.

The fictional hero was created by comic-writer Stan Lee in the early 1960s.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2009/03/25/report-obama-administration-backing-away-global-war-terror/

The Obama administration has ordered an end to use of the phrase "Global War on Terror," a label adopted by the Bush administration shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

In a memo sent this week from the Defense Department's office of security to Pentagon staffers, members were told, "this administration prefers to avoid using the term 'Long War' or 'Global War on Terror' [GWOT.] Please use 'Overseas Contingency Operation.'"

A spokesman for the Office of Management and Budget, from whom the direction reportedly came, told the Post there was no guidance given from the agency and that it was merely the "opinion of a career civil servant."

The Obama administration's rhetoric has paralleled this idea, having used the "Global Contingency Operation" phrase for a month prior to the e-mail being sent.

Craig W. Duehring, assistant secretary of the Air Force for manpower, also used the term last week.

"Key battlefield monetary incentives has allowed the Air Force to meet the demands of overseas contingency operations even as requirements continue to grow," he said in congressional testimony.

Critics have pleaded with the Obama administration to abandon the use of "Global War on Terror" because they say it mischaracterizes the nature of the enemy and its abilities.

All I can say is:
"Dear Lord, please don't! Please! This is scary!"

I hope that this is a comedy.

Julianne Moore has been cast as Hillary Clinton in new film "Special Relationship".

The actress will star opposite Dennis Quaid -- who will play Hillary's husband, ex-U.S. President Bill Clinton -- in the movie which will show how Bill's 'inappropriate relationship' with White House intern Monica Lewinsky nearly ended his time in power.

A source said: "This is a big role for both of them. Playing Hillary, a wife who stands by her unfaithful husband, will be something she can get her teeth stuck into."

Dennis reportedly beat four other leading actors - Russell Crowe, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Alec Baldwin and Tim Robbins - to win the role of Bill.

"Special Relationship" is the closing film of a political trilogy written by Peter Morgan, following "The Deal" -- about Tony Blair's rise to power in the British Labour party - and "The Queen" which focused on the reaction of the British Royal Family to the death of Princess Diana.

"Special Relationship" will be Peter's directorial debut.

The film will also feature Michael Sheen as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who will be seen growing frustrated with Bill as his attentions move from politics to his own personal crisis.

"Special Relationship" starts filming in the UK and US in July.

A British police raid on safe deposit boxes has revealed an "Aladdin's cave of criminality" that spans murder, money laundering, pedophilia, people trafficking and drug running. The findings have led to 1,000 inquiries around the world.

More than 3,500 boxes were raided by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Directorate in June last year.

They seized $51.5 million of cash in various denominations, of which $1.5 million has still to be claimed, dozens of passports, cocaine, firearms, forged banking bonds, including one for $4.95 million, suitcases full of gold and cannabis.

The contents of some of the boxes are being investigated by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, The Times has learned.

Seven hundred of the box holders are being referred to Customs for suspected tax evasion involving $22 million and officers have discovered a significant number of "ghosts" - people who have never paid any tax at all.

Elephant tusks worth $58,000 were also confiscated after a suspect's home was searched.

Police inquiries have led all over the world and officers expect the investigations to run for years to come. So far 11 people have been charged in connection with the raid, codenamed Operation Rize, and 40 have been arrested.

More than half of the boxes are thought to be connected to criminal activity.

I am not sure why the BBC is running this article. I think they are talking about a real and scary threat. That is most unlike the BBC. Usually the threats they find involve Jews or conservatives taking over the world.

Threat of dirty bombs 'increased'

There is an increased risk terrorists could get hold of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons to attack the UK, the Home Office has said.

The assessment comes as Home Secretary Jacqui Smith unveiled a new UK strategy to tackle an evolved terrorist threat.

It warns failed states such as Iraq have made it easier to obtain materials for weapons such as dirty bombs.

Ms Smith said the threat is "severe" - meaning an attack is "highly likely" and "could happen without warning".

Dirty bomb

The BBC's home affairs correspondent, Daniel Sandford, said chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons "have always been something al-Qaeda have aspired to" but the report warns they are now within terrorists' grasp.

"There is a concern now among officials in the Home Office that the chances of them getting hold of this material have increased in a world of failed states, in a world of easy availability of radiological material in hospitals and in a world of greatly increased smuggling of these kinds of materials."

Obama promised to have the most ethical and transparent administration ever, yet the Press has to submit questions for approval before they are allowed to be asked and certain lines of questioning are forbidden because the Messiah can't answer them right now. Or ever.

Now that same "honest" administration is trying to hide the fact that their Messiah hung around with indicted thugs and wants to use those same thugs to change this Country into a different one. One that the majority of Americans reject. If we wanted his vision we would go to Cuba. Maybe we can send the ACORN thugs to Cuba and see what it is they want here. Castro can give them some good lessons in thuggery.

In the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the top Republican Party official in that state accused President Obama of "trying to inject politics" into the 2010 count.

Party chief Bob Gleason charged Obama with "enlisting" the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now to be a "national partner" in the work.

WND already has reported on allegations of misbehavior on the part of ACORN and a U.S. House subcommittee recently heard GOP lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh and a fired ACORN employee who alleged the organization falsified voter records and violated federal tax and campaign finance laws.

Gleason warned Obama "is trying to interject politics into the 2010 U.S. census, hoping to increase the reach of his party throughout the country."

He said ACORN's results simply won't be trustworthy.

The culture of Democrat corruption continues! I am shocked that a Liberal caught on video slashing his girlfriends face open with a broken bottle would deny the charges. Shocked I tell you. Honest.

NEW YORK -- A freshman state senator sworn in to office despite allegations he slashed his girlfriend's face with broken glass in a jealous rage has been indicted on domestic assault charges, prosecutors said Monday.

A grand jury in Queens indicted Hiram Monserrate on three counts of second-degree felony assault and three counts of third-degree misdemeanor assault. Arraignment is expected later this week. He faces seven years in prison if convicted on the most serious charges.

Monserrate, a Democrat who was in Albany on Monday for a legislative session, issued a statement saying he did not commit a crime.

"I've said all along this was accident. The district attorney's politically motivated decision to pursue this case doesn't change the fact that this was an accident," he said.

The 41-year-old former police officer was arrested after Karla Giraldo's face was slashed on Dec. 19 at his New York City home. The gash over her eye required 25 stitches. Both said the incident was an accident.

Monserrate told police he tripped while holding a glass of water and that the glass accidentally hit Giraldo.

But authorities say evidence, including surveillance videos, painted a picture of a heated argument and a frightened, bleeding woman in distress.

According to the police report, Giraldo, 29, initially said she was assaulted, then changed her account after learning officers planned to arrest Monserrate. She later told police she did not wish to press charges.

After a closed-door meeting with fellow Democrats in Albany Monday, Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith said Monserrate asked to temporarily step down as chairman of the Consumer Affairs Committee. Smith had already withheld Monserrate's $12,500 stipend until the criminal case concluded. Monserrate will retain all his other duties and collect his $79,500 base pay.

With all the warnings about probable terrorism and violence at these summits, one thing that is never noted is that the people committing the violence are almost always leftists committing violence in the name of Peace. Since most of those losers are living off the government, why don't we cut off the aid. Maybe their air, too, since they are producing too much CO2 and that upsets the Left.

Terror attack rated 'highly likely'
Intel agencies warn of danger during G20 meetings

LONDON - Britain's MI5 and MI6 intelligence services have issued a joint warning that the threat of a terrorist attack "on or during the G20 summit in London" next week is now at the "top end of severe," the third of four high-risk levels, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

The only higher rating that intelligence services use is "critical," indicating an attack "is expected imminently."

The warning comes on the eve of the publication of the government's new counter-terrorism strategy. The document includes advice on how to protect buildings from attack.

Security sources say the possibility of an attack by terrorists would "most likely" involve using automatic weapons for a Mumbai style attack on London's major hotels and shops like Harrods.

Keep in touch with the most important breaking news stories about critical developments around the globe with Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence news source edited and published by the founder of WND.

Terrorists used grenades and assault rifles in the Mumbai attack last November, which killed 173 people. Two deluxe hotels were the focus of the attack.

So, the Friends of Ayers at the White House are fighting to cover this all up? What a shock.

If the Feds are refusing to investigate further and are trying to keep the locals from investigating by keeping the case open, what recourse do the police and the families of the victims, much less the victims themselves, have? If the Feds refuse to prosecute and allow a jury to hear the facts, can the victims sue this terrorist and the people who have supported him for all these years? I think they should!

Ayers and his wife have killed people and made a profit from it. That is illegal and they should be stopped. Some one needs to sue them into the monetary poverty that matches their moral poverty.

The Obama Justice Department instructed San Francisco police officials not to comment after top law enforcement officers there signed a letter accusing Weathermen radical Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, of being directly behind the 1970 bombing of San Francisco's police station that killed one sergeant and wounded nine others.

At a press conference March 12 directed by activist Cliff Kincaid of America's Survival Inc, the leaders of the San Francisco Police Officers' Association made public a letter pointing a finger at Ayers and Dohrn that demands those responsible for the bombing be brought to justice.

"There are irrefutable and compelling reasons to believe that Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn are largely responsible for the bombing of Park Police Station," the officers stated in the letter.

The letter called for the U.S. to bring "those responsible for the murder of Sgt. Brian McDonnell and the injuries to other officers to the justice they have so long eluded."

I am glad that private security is being upgraded to police levels. With the horrible crime rates in our cities and the worries about terrorists we need a new line of defense. i know that the Liberal solution to crime is to fire the police and give the cash to the criminals so they don't have to work and have more time to plan a better life. Or plan better crimes.

Train these guys and send them to work. Have the police handle the major stuff. It makes sense to me. What is the downside?

http://cbs2chicago.com/local/police.private.security.2.966243.html

Since the private security patrols arrived, the robberies have continued, "but it's slowing down, because it seems like more of the stores have to have their own guns and their own security."

In addition to the Fraternal Order of Police being against it, experts tell CBS 2 that asking private security guards to conduct police functions is dangerous, and potentially fatal, with most security guards paid much less and receive less training. Chicago's Police Supt. Jody Weis calls it all a work in progress.

"Let's be creative," Weis said. "If we can have police officers focusing on higher priority cases, it's worth talking about."

CBS 2 wanted to ask the Toronto-based firm which was the lowest bidder for contracts in the 9th and 10th wards about the background and training of its officers. Also in question was is how much experience the Canadian company has with the inner city problems which make the Roseland community a challenge for even the most streetwise Chicago Police professionals. The firm has not yet returned calls.

I really have harped on this many times, but McCain screwed things up with his campaign reforms. His "fix" has violated the Constitution in so many ways that it is hard to fathom an American could write something like that. Well, maybe a Liberal who hates America could.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/24/hillary-the-movie-case-pits-free-speech-vs-electio/

If a political movie falls into theaters a few months before Election Day but no one is allowed to hear about it, does it violate the First Amendment clause on freedom of speech?

That's the constitutional riddle Supreme Court justices will consider Tuesday: Do American citizens have the right to hear political messages of their choosing at the movies, on DVDs and on pay-per-view television, or are those messages subject to restraints under the 2002 campaign finance laws?

The case before the court concerns "Hillary: The Movie," a documentary critical of Hillary Rodham Clinton that was produced by the conservative group Citizens United. It was released in theaters in January during the presidential primary season that concluded in June.

But the Federal Election Commission told the producers of the movie that any advertisements for the film would have to carry the same disclaimer as political advocacy ads. The filmmakers chose not to advertise at all and sued the FEC.

The highly-enhanced tactics now employed by Islamist terrorist organizations are being met with improved counter-measures by potentially vulnerable countries.

The Israeli spy satellite acquired by India in an extra-fast transaction is capable of day-and-night viewing and all-weather imaging, which enables Indian forces to keep track of terrorist movements through the low-cloud cover prevailing in the monsoon season. India is the first country in the world to acquire a surveillance satellite tailored specifically to counter terror.

According to this report, which I have obtained a copy of, almost everyone I know in law enforcement and other emergency services will have to be reclassified as militia or terrorists. I am assuming that people who have fit more than a couple of the categories will need to be treated as terrorists. Well, maybe not terrorists since that is out of favor with this administration.

I got it! They will treat these scum like Republicans! Republicans who tap feet under stalls. Republicans who don't like tax cheats. Republicans who are conservative. Republicans who are capitalists. Even worse, they will treat them like the Christians they are!

Too bad the people listed here are not Muslims or Liberals who are FAR more likely to act violently and irrationally.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/03/23/fusion-centers-expand-criteria-identify-militia-members/

MIAC is one of 58 so-called "fusion centers" nationwide that were created by the Department of Homeland Security, in part, to collect local intelligence that authorities can use to combat terrorism and related criminal activities. More than $254 million from fiscal years 2004-2007 went to state and local governments to support the fusion centers, according to the DHS Web site.

During a press conference last week in Kansas City, Mo., DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano called fusion centers the "centerpiece of state, local, federal intelligence-sharing" in the future.

"Let us not forget the reason we are here, the reason we have the Department of Homeland Security and the reason we now have fusion centers, which is a relatively new concept, is because we did not have the capacity as a country to connect the dots on isolated bits of intelligence prior to 9/11," Napolitano said, according to a DHS transcript.

"That's why we started this.... Now we know that it's not just the 9/11-type incidents but many, many other types of incidents that we can benefit from having fusion centers that share information and product and analysis upwards and horizontally."

But some say the fusion centers are going too far in whom they identify as potential threats to American security.

People who supported former third-party presidential candidates like Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and former Georgia Rep. Bob Barr are cited in the report, in addition to anti-abortion activists and conspiracy theorists who believe the United States, Mexico and Canada will someday form a North American Union.

"Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups," the report reads. "It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty or Libertarian material."

Other potential signals of militia involvement, according to the report, are possession of the Gagsden "Don't Tread on Me" flag or the widely available anti-income tax film "America: Freedom to Fascism."

For more information on the Fusion Centers, see the FBI.

The U.S. Army has launched an inquiry into how and why active duty troops from Fort Rucker, Ala., came to be placed on the streets of Samson, Ala., during last week's murder spree in that tiny South Alabama community. The use of the troops was a possible violation of federal law.

"On March 10, after a report of an apparent mass murder in Samson, Ala., 22 military police soldiers from Fort Rucker, Ala., along with the provost marshal, were sent to the city of Samson," Harvey Perritt, spokesman for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at Fort Monroe, Va., told CNSNews.com on Monday.

"The purpose for sending the military police, the authority for doing so, and what duties they performed is the subject of an ongoing commander's inquiry

This is just stupid. How fat do you have to be to be too fat to work??
Put these people on a diet and put them to work. Their medical conditions will mostly vanish once they lose the weight from sitting on their fat butts all day.

Can I get a bonus for not being too fat to work? What a crock.

A British family of four, who receives more than $30,000 a year in benefits because they are "too fat to work," says they deserve more money, London's Daily Telegraph reported.

The Chawners, who live in Blackburn, England, have a combined weight of 1,160 pounds.

"What we get barely covers the bills and puts food on the table," Philip Chawner, 53, told the newspaper. "It's not our fault we can't work. We deserve more."

Philip and his wife Audrey, 57, weigh 336 pounds each. Daughters Emma, 19, and Samantha, 21, weigh in at 236 pounds and 252 pounds, respectively.

Audrey Chawner, who has epilepsy and asthma as a result of being overweight, told "Closer" magazine her family's weight is genetic and they cannot afford to eat healthier.

Philip Chawner has Type 2 diabetes and was eligible for gastric band surgery until he developed a heart condition.

"I'm a student and don't have time to exercise," Emma Chawner said. "We all want to lose weight to stop the abuse in the street, but we don't know how."

http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/03/saudi-judge-sentences-pregnant-gang.html

Saudi judge has ordered a woman should be jailed for a year and receive 100 lashes after she was gang-raped, it was claimed last night.

The 23-year-old woman, who became pregnant after her ordeal, was reportedly assaulted after accepting a lift from a man.

He took her to a house to the east of the city of Jeddah where she was attacked by him and four of his friends throughout the night.

She later discovered she was pregnant and made a desperate attempt to get an abortion at the King Fahd Hospital for Armed Forces.

According to the Saudi Gazette, she eventually 'confessed' to having 'forced intercourse' with her attackers and was brought before a judge at the District Court in Jeddah.

He ruled she had committed adultery - despite not even being married - and handed down a year's prison sentence, which she will serve in a prison just outside the city.

She is still pregnant and will be flogged once she has had the child.

A Christian minister in London who has clashed with Muslims on his television show says he was brutally attacked by three men who warned him, "if you go back to the studio, we'll break your legs," the Daily Mail reported on Sunday.

The newspaper said Reverend Noble Samuel was driving to his studio when a car pulled over in front of him. A man got out and came over to ask him directions.

"He put his hand into my window, which was half open, and grabbed my hair and opened the door," Samuel said. "He grabbed my cross and pulled it off and it fell on the floor. He was swearing. The other two men came from the car and took my laptop and Bible."

Police were treating the incident as a "faith hate" assault and were looking for three Asian men.

Pakistani-born Samuel, 48, hosts the hour-long Asian Gospel Show on the Venus satellite channel from studios in Wembley, England.

During the live broadcast, station owner Tahir Al, a Muslim, appeared on-air to condemn the attack.

In January, at a symposium at UCLA (choreographed by the Center for Near East Studies), four longtime Israel bashers were invited to analyze the human rights conditions in Gaza, and used the stage to attack the legitimacy of Zionism and its vision of a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.

They criminalized Israel's existence, distorted its motives and maligned its character, its birth, even its conception. At one point, the excited audience reportedly chanted "Zionism is Nazism" and worse.

Jewish leaders condemned this hate-fest as a dangerous invitation to anti-Semitic hysteria, and pointed to the chilling effect it had on UCLA students and faculty on a campus known for its open and civil atmosphere. The organizers, some of them Jewish, took refuge in "academic freedom" and the argument that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism.

Millions are participating in online social networks in an age of unprecedented self-surveillance (sousveillance). And these sites are pushing criminal investigation into uncharted waters.

Two of the most popular networking sites are MySpace and Facebook, each of which boasts over 100 million users. And according to a 2008 Pew Internet and American Life Project survey, the numbers of adult users with online profiles increased more than 400 percent over the last four years.[FOOTNOTE 1]

Evidence derived from social networking comes into play in several ways. Law enforcement and prosecutors use it to identify suspects and build cases. And defense attorneys have begun to mine this resource for information that can exculpate their clients, impeach a state's witness or provide a basis for a reduced sentence or post-conviction review.

I am very glad that I am not in political level public safety any more! Being a semi-retired consultant is much safer. If I make a slip that the PC police dislike, I just get a warning and fewer calls. It is hard for them to do anything else! Can't take my pension! I do pity the law enforcement people in the modern world.

Where can we send the lawyers and hippies to get them out of our hair?

http://www.examiner.com/x-2684-Law-Enforcement-Examiner~y2009m3d14-Obama-ignores-madness-of-fighting-politically-correct-terrorism-war

President Barack Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder announced on Friday that the term enemy combatant will no longer be used by the federal government to describe enemy combatants captured on the battlefield during counterterrorism and counterinsurgency military operations. To many law enforcement officers and military personnel, this action is the epitome of politically correct newspeak.
As time passes and the events of September 11th become more distant, the voices of America's political-correctness orthodoxy have increased their volume and intensity. They now feel safe in questioning Homeland Security tactics to combat terrorism and are attempting to turn public opinion against law-enforcement leaders.
A major weapon in their arsenal is the accusation of racial profiling by US police and security forces. Another weapon in the war against the war on terrorism is the distortions made regarding the Patriot Act. When one considers the risks to lives and property posed by terrorists, political correctness has now become a weapon of mass destruction.

Most clear thinking Americans were shocked when 9-11 Commission member and former US Secretary of the Navy John Lehman revealed a disturbing fact: the Federal Aviation Administration will be hitting American airlines with stiff penalties for even the appearance of any racial profiling of Middle-Easterners. One airline paid out a huge sum of money to Arab males who filed law suits alleging racial profiling, as well. Yet none of this appeared in the commission's final report.

This leaves many law-enforcement officers incredulously asking: what kind of terrorism war is this? It seems national security and public safety are taking a back-seat to political correctness which in turn thwarts our efforts to detect terrorists and their accomplices.

This is too funny. With Clinton being such a pervert I assumed he knew about basic biology so that he would not accidentally breed again.

I guess that whole administration needs remedial science lessons.

Clinton: I don't know that I have any reservations, but I was - he has apparently decided to leave to the relevant professional committees the definition of which frozen embryos are basically going to be discarded, because they're not going to be fertilized. I believe the American people believe it's a pro-life decision to use an embryo that's frozen and never going to be fertilized for embryonic stem cell research....

But those committees need to be really careful to make sure if they don't want a big storm to be stirred up here, that any of the embryos that are used clearly have been placed beyond the pale of being fertilized before their use. There are a large number of embryos that we know are never going to be fertilized, where the people who are in control of them have made that clear. The research ought to be confined to those....

But there are values involved that we all ought to feel free to discuss in all scientific research. And that is the one thing that I think these committees need to make it clear that they're not going to fool with any embryos where there's any possibility, even if it's somewhat remote, that they could be fertilized and become human beings.

Fox Point, Wis. -- A robber gets more than he bargained for when he targets a Tae Kwon Do studio in suburban Milwaukee.

The robber thought he could quietly slip in and out of David Kang's studio in Fox Point with some loot.

What he didn't realize is that he would encounter a Tae Kwon Do master who wasn't about to let him off the hook. Kang was giving a private lesson Tuesday and heard someone in his office. Kang found the man going through his closet, grabbed him by the neck and sat him down while he called police.

The robber took off and Kang gave chase, finally catching up with the man and holding him by the neck until police arrived.

Flying e-bombs!

Wow! I was just talking to people about the effects of EMP and now I get to read this article about new designs to make things even more interesting. Where I can get some? Just to play with?

http://blog.wired.com/defense/

Electronics-frying "e-bombs" have been discussed for decades -- but rarely, if ever, deployed. Knocking out computers and communications gear with electromagnetic radiation is nice, but commanders prefer the proven method: blowing stuff up.

Now the U.S. Army is developing technology to do both at the same time. Hybrid munitions would give warheads the added punch of an e-bomb that can "destroy and disable electronic systems and their operators" all in one blast. The key is a magnet that blows up and spontaneously demagnetizes, releasing energy as a pulse of power. Oh, and antennas made of fire. My story in the current Defense Technology International explains.

Previous e-bomb designs were based on explosively driven magnetic flux compression generators. They used a series of tightly wound, current-carrying metal coils that are rapidly compressed by an explosion. The new technology is much more compact. It's based on research showing that some magnets will spontaneously demagnetize when hit by a powerful enough shock wave, releasing a pulse of energy, in the process. The technical term is "pressure-induced magnetic phase transition."

I have to admit to torn feelings on this. On the one hand, I am glad the kids finally have a safe place to play. On the other, it is sad that the kids have to have a bunker to play in and not a place to get fresh air while they play.

It is amazing how ingenuous the Israelis are. That they are forced to such extremes is a sad commentary on our world.

Israeli kids get rocket-proofed indoor playground

By ARON HELLER - 2 days ago

SDEROT, Israel (AP) -- Brightly painted walls surround a mini-soccer field, video games, a climbing wall and play areas. The converted warehouse also has a new thick concrete roof, a half dozen shelters and an alert system to give a 15-second warning of incoming rockets.

The children of Sderot finally have a safe place to play.

The fortified indoor playground got a warm welcome Tuesday when it opened in this southern Israeli town that has been battered by missiles fired from the adjacent Gaza Strip by Palestinian militants.

"It's an amazing thing. Until now, only the house and school were safe," said Pesah Hajbi, a 43-year-old father of three. "It's cold comfort," he added. "If they don't stop firing, at least there is a safe place to play."

Eight Sderot residents have been killed, hundreds wounded and nearly everyone in the working-class town of 24,000 has been traumatized by the frequent wail of sirens and explosions of the thousands of rockets that have hit over the past eight years.

Dozens of rockets have come down just since Israel's January offensive in Gaza ended. On Tuesday, Israeli aircraft hit a militant rocket squad in northern Gaza, wounding three, just after they fired rockets at Israel.

The Egyptian Police, in all of its brutal stupidity, decided to fuck with a regular young man walking down the street. They asked him for his ID, and when he told them he couldn't give it to them, they took him to the police station, where they tortured him and then his dad later on. Unbeknown to them the kid was a student at the egyptian military academy, whose members are instructed not to show or handover their ID's to anyone who isn't military. So when the news of what happened to him reached his fellow cadets, they..ehh..declared bloody war on the police station in which he was detained. They pelted the station with stones, used tazers on the police officers, set 2 cars (one belonging to the station, the other to the sherif) and one police motorcycle on fire, and they tore down the sign post on the station, while singing and chanting military academy chants. The police couldn;t open fire on them without direct orders, which they couldn't get, because the army would've fuckin moved on anyone who would've made such an order, so the police could only fire his ammo in the air, hoping the military cadets would get scared. They knew the deal, so they didn't get scared and started to really taunt the police and insult them, which attacking them. This incident, which got banned from being published in any newspaper or newschannel in egypt, is now referred to by the military cadets as "the battle of dignity". Oh, and it's on video(s), and you could find the videos here.

I wonder how many incidents like this have happened. This is probably not a stand alone incident.

Semper Fi! It would be great to have a living Medal Of Honor recipient to honor. It would be even better for that person to be a Marine. Just to spite the Army.

The Marines continue to be the best of the best while the army has the numbers to be almost as good by shear manpower. I pray the guy lives long enough to be honored.

CMC: Living MoH recipient may be coming

The Marine Corps commandant said Wednesday that an investigator is reviewing a valor case that, if approved, would yield the first living recipient of the Medal of Honor in the war on terrorism.

"We have a case that I sent an investigating officer out to take a look at on the West Coast that, if proven, I think will prompt me to recommend the Medal of Honor for a living Marine," Gen. James T. Conway said.

If the Corps were to make a formal nomination, the case would go to the secretary of the Navy for approval, followed by the secretary of Defense and then the president.

Conway did not identify the Marine or the country in which the Marine served.

I mention this for one reason: Tony [West] is the President's nominee to head the Justice Department's Civil Division. If you want to know how far we are past 9/11, there's your answer: John Walker Lindh's defense attorney is going to work for Justice. I'm not saying he wouldn't do a perfectly competent job.

Pay attention and you can hear it for yourself...

While this is found in Pravda, which is Russian word for Truth and a source of some amusement to speakers of the language, I have noticed the same trend, as have others. Private and corporate armies are becoming the new trend. Conflict is becoming too specialized to be left to basically trained troops.

This happened before in the Renaissance when mercenaries led the way in most if not all conflicts. That is why the Swiss still guard the Vatican.

Private military companies to supersede regular armies

Private military companies (PMCs) have become rather popular nowadays in terms of providing specialized expertise or services of a military nature. These units can compete with special services and regular armies. There are such companies in Russia, although they are not so widely spread in the country in comparison with their prototypes in the West. As experience shows, the PMCs will prevail in the future.

The history of private military companies started on June 24, 1997, when experts of the US Intelligence Department proclaimed the PMCs as a major tool in the implementation of the military security policy of the United States and its allies in other countries.

The professional level of a private military company is its major advantage. Inexperienced military men are not welcome there. A PMC member is usually a man between 35-40 years of age. A human being of this age is resistant to stresses and emergency situations. In addition, a man of this age can also do routine work very well, which can not be said about younger men.

Potential fighters of the private military companies possess the required level of experience and have an adequate insight, which allows such units to achieve better results in their activities in comparison with regular armies.

A private military company can be very efficient in local conflicts, where the use of regular armies can be complicated for legal reasons. For example, Russia can not send its troops to Nigeria if Nigerian gunmen attack employees of Russian companies - it would be a gross violation of international laws.

Russian PMCs - Tiger Top Rent Security and Orel Antiterror - do not lag behind their US or British colleagues. The only difference is that Russian PMC fighters are paid a lot less.

Russian PMCs took part in the military actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon and Palestine.

Russia's largest companies such as Russian Aluminium (Rusal), Lukoil, Rosneft and Gazprom received a carte blanche to form military structures to protect their interests both inside and outside Russia.

Private military companies supply bodyguards for the Afghan president and pilot armed reconnaissance planes and helicopter gunships to destroy Coca crops in Colombia. They are licensed by the State Department; they are contracting with foreign governments, training soldiers and reorganizing militaries in Nigeria, Bulgaria, Taiwan, and Equatorial Guinea. The PMC industry is now worth over $100 billion a year.

I am not sure why so many of the families and friends of terrorists are shocked when they are interviewed about their relationships.

If Somalia is so freaking great, go back and stay. If you don't want to go back, then you have to adapt to your new country and customs. You don't have to give up all your old habits and customs, just the ones that are negative or don't mesh with where you are trying to live now. If you don't like our country, then get out. Go home or make this your new home.

Federal authorities are looking to bring terror-related charges against one or more Somali-Americans from the Minneapolis area, and witnesses to the case have been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury, according to a Muslim leader in the area and a woman who said she testified before the grand jury this morning.

For several months the FBI has been investigating about a dozen Somali-American men who disappeared from their homes in the Minneapolis area late last year and may have joined terrorist groups overseas. One of the men, 27-year-old Shirwa Ahmed, later blew himself up in Somalia. The FBI recently called him the first U.S. citizen to carry out a suicide bombing, and FBI Director Mueller said he was "radicalized in his hometown in Minnesota."

The FBI has interviewed at least 50 people in the Somali community and subpoenaed at least 10 people to testify before a grand jury in Minneapolis, according to Farhan Hurre, the director of the Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center in St. Paul, one of the largest mosques in the Twin Cities. He said most of those subpoenaed are students at the University of Minnesota. At least two of the men still missing were students at the University of Minnesota.

The joy of releasing the enemy while the war is ongoing is a gift that keeps on giving - giving us dead bodies. President Bush takes the responsibility for releasing this goat humper, but the Democrats all bear responsibility for the pressure they brought to bear to have him freed.

This is not a game. This is War! The lies of the Left can not change the mantra of the people who have declared war on us. Just because they refuse to listen to our declared enemies does not make those enemies stop wanting to kill us. Just because the Left gives money and food to the terrorists, is not going to stop them from buying weapons. Actually, by saving them money they would have had to spend on food and necessities, the terrorists will be able to purchase larger quantities of weapons and bombs. Thanks morons.

The Taliban's new top operations officer in southern Afghanistan had been a prisoner at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, the latest example of a freed detainee who took a militant leadership role and a potential complication for the Obama administration's efforts to close the prison.

U.S. authorities handed over the detainee to the Afghan government, which in turn released him, according to Pentagon and CIA officials.

Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly Guantanamo prisoner No. 008, was among 13 Afghan prisoners released to the Afghan government in December 2007. Rasoul is now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, a nom de guerre that Pentagon and intelligence officials say is used by a Taliban leader who is in charge of operations against U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.

The officials, who spoke anonymously because they are not authorized to release the information, said Rasoul has joined a growing faction of former Guantanamo prisoners who have rejoined militant groups and taken action against U.S. interests. Pentagon officials have said that as many as 60 former detainees have resurfaced on foreign battlefields.

The IRA decides that since terrorism is not going to be something that will bring US attacks, they are free to begin operations again. They are probably correct.

With the US ending the War on Terrorism and the British more concerned with appeasement than honor or integrity the time is ripe for the Rise of the Terrorists. I would normally wish the "Little Guy" luck, but in this case the "little guy" is the terrorist. Besides, these are Irish terrorists and "little guys" in Ireland has a slightly different connotation.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Ireland: "Continuity" IRA Claims Murder Of Police Officer

Earlier, On Saturday, two British soldiers were murdered as they collected a pizza delivery outside Massereene barracks in Co Antrim. "Real" IRA claimed responsibility.

Apparently "Real" & "Continuity" IRA doesn't like British presence in Ireland. US and UK have designated both groups as terrorist organizations.

The Continuity IRA today claimed responsibility for shooting a police officer in the head last night, in a second outbreak of violence against security services in Northern Ireland.

The dissident group said in a coded message that the shooting in Craigavon was carried out by its north Armagh battalion. "As long as there is British involvement in Ireland, these attacks will continue," it said.

The latest victim was named as Constable Stephen Carroll, 48, a married man with a family from Banbridge in Co Down, who had more than 20 years' experience in the service.

Interesting to note, Obama had invited ex-IRA chief Martin McGuinness for a lavish celebration on St Patrick's Day. This is comparable to inviting Bill Ayers to the White House to celebrate his "fugitive days".

The Brits are infuriated over this, and rightly so, after Obama's snub of PM Gordon Brown. This comment earlier from the State Dept. didn't help matters :

The real views of many in Obama administration were laid bare by a State Department official involved in planning the Brown visit, who reacted with fury when questioned by The Sunday Telegraph about why the event was so low-key.

The official dismissed any notion of the special relationship, saying: "There's nothing special about Britain. You're just the same as the other 190 countries in the world. You shouldn't expect special treatment."

Thankfully, the planned visit has been put on hold. Not by Obama, instead by McGuiness.

Go and read the rest. You know you want to.

my head is spinning...

The six dialectical contradictions of socialism in the USSR:

* There is full employment - yet no one is working.
* No one is working - yet the factory quotas are fulfilled.
* The factory quotas are fulfilled - yet the stores have nothing to sell.
* The stores have nothing to sell - yet people got all the stuff at home.
* People got all the stuff at home - yet everyone is complaining.
* Everyone is complaining - yet the voting is always unanimous.

but wait! there more...

Economic justice:

* America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
* Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
* They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
* Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
* The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
* They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

and...

Here is a real shocker. A commie working for CNN? Really? They are the most fair and balanced station in history! They represent all view points from the left-moderates to the far, far left. They even allow the occasional Republican to speak on their programs - as long as they have voted with the Left on something recently.

They are the best place to find stories - not news.

The presidential candidate [1] of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN), the communist revolutionaries in El Salvador the Reagan administration battled in the 1980s, is, a Monday Washington Post story noted, "a former correspondent for CNN en Espanol [2]." In the March 9 article, "In El Salvador Vote, Big Opportunity for Leftists [3]," reporter William Booth relayed from San Salvador that the journalist-turned-politician "considers himself to be El Salvador's Barack Obama." Booth relayed:

After a 12-year civil war and a peace undermined by soaring crime, leftists in El Salvador are on the verge of completing a remarkable journey from armed struggle to the presidential palace.

Their candidate is a veteran TV broadcaster and morning talk show host, Mauricio Funes [4], whose Facebook page [5] lists his political views as "other." Funes, 49, a former correspondent for CNN en Español, was recently recruited by the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN), the revolutionary group-turned-mainstream political party that is favored by polls to win the presidency in a vote scheduled for March 15....

Funes considers himself to be El Salvador's Barack Obama -- an agent of change in a country beset by the highest murder rate in Latin America and an economy in free fall.

The comparison is overt: Funes and the FMLN use images of Obama in their ads (despite objections by the U.S. State Department), saying both candidates were smeared by their opponents as allies of extremists. The FMLN television spots complete the link by employing the Obama slogan in English and Spanish, vowing "Yes, we can!"...

Britain's nuclear defense headquarters could be under threat from terrorists using Google Earth.

Close-up aerial views of the top-secret naval base are on the computer program -- available for free over the internet.

It even reveals the longitude and latitude of the facility in Faslane, Scotland -- home to the U.K.'s Trident-armed nuclear submarine force.

And pictures clearly show two vast Vanguard Class submarines -- each capable of carrying 16 nuclear missiles.

Military experts warn that would make it easy for terrorists to launch accurate mortar or rocket attacks.

One told The Sun: "A strike on our nuclear capability would cause untold devastation. Terrorists could have a field day, knowing exactly where to aim strikes to cause the maximum devastation."

TEHRAN - Iran will send Interpol a list of over 100 Israeli 'war-criminals,' Fars news agency reported Friday.

Tehran general prosecutor Saaid Mortzavi said that 'a list with more than 100 Zionist (Israeli) criminals involved in the massacre of the Palestinian people has been prepared and would gradually be sent to Interpol.'

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said during Friday prayers that the only appropriate sentence for the Israeli war criminals should be execution.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday demanded an international war crimes tribunal be held against Israeli leaders who ordered military operations in the Gaza Strip in December and January.

The demand by Khamenei, who in line with the Iranian constitution has the final say on all state affairs, was sent by the Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry as an official letter to the United Nations.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad echoed Khamenei's demands for a war crimes tribunal for Israel, which Tehran does not recognize as a sovereign state, supporting instead Gaza's ruling Islamist militant group Hamas.

Ahmadinejad urged a united front against Israel in order to follow up 'the condemnation of the criminals in a war crimes tribunal.'

The Iranian prosecutor general's office earlier this week said it had asked Interpol to issue arrest warrants for 34 top Israeli political officials and 114 military commanders, including outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defence Minister Ehud Barak, on charges of war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Interpol denied having received any such request from Iran or any of its 187 member countries.

As President Barack Obama announces plans to withdraw US troops from Iraq, thousands of young Ugandans are increasingly desperate to be sent to the war-torn country. Already, the Ugandan government says there are more than 10,000 men and women from this poverty-stricken East African nation working as private security guards in Iraq. Hired out to multibillion-dollar companies for hundreds of dollars a month, they risk their lives seeking fortunes protecting US Army bases, airports, and oil firms.

The war in Iraq is the most privatized conflict in history. Since the invasion in 2003, the US Department of Defense has doled out contracts worth an estimated $100 billion to private firms. Covering a vast range of services from catering to dry cleaning to security, one in every five dollars the US spends in Iraq ends up in the pockets of the contractors, according to a report by the Congressional Budget Office. Increasingly these jobs have been outsourced to developing countries.

It is clear why the US contractors came to Uganda. As an impoverished former British colony, the country is awash with unemployed and English-speaking potential recruits. Its pliant government was an early member of President Bush's "coalition of the willing," and with a lingering 20-year insurgency, it also has a glut of experienced army veterans, who made up the initial contingent of Ugandans in Iraq.

More important, hiring Ugandans is cheap. Since the first Ugandans were sent to Iraq in late 2005, competition from other developing countries in Africa and the Indian subcontinent has seen the government cut the minimum wage from $1,300 to $600 a month. That compares with the $15,000 that one industry insider estimated an American guard could make each month. Nevertheless, competition is fierce, and for those Ugandans who land a job, Iraq can prove a bonanza.

The Obamas are finally being examined and found to be filled of hate for Whitey. Mrs Obama has so much class that she purposely snubs and even insults the British. I am so glad that this family is running our country.

Consider her notorious statement that: "For the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country." Consider her (till-recently suppressed) Princeton thesis, "Princeton Educated Blacks And The Black Community."

In it she writes: "I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second."

Here we see that she has mastered the authentic voice of grievance culture. She also - the thesis was written in 1985 - pre-empts the Macpherson report's ludicrous, catch-all definition of racism: "A racist incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person." No matter how hard young Michelle's white undergraduate contemporaries try to be nice, it's not their behaviour that counts, but how Michelle feels.

More worrying, though, and dangerous, than young Michelle's desperate quest for validation through victimhood is the other strain within her thesis. "As I enter my final year at Princeton," she writes. "I find myself striving for many of the same goals as my White classmates - acceptance to a prestigious graduate or professional school or a high paying position in a successful corporation. Thus, my goals at Princeton are not as clear as before."

Obama does not care if people care or not - he just wants to give goodies to terrorists so they can be better armed for their war on the West. Why is he so determined to spend so much money, so quickly? Is this the best way to ruin America?

Syria is building a new chemical weapons factory next to a long-range missile base, hiding evidence of its mushrooming nuclear weapons program and radically increasing military spending on conventional systems. These activities which are primarily funded by Iran suggest Damascus is preparing for war and not -- in President Obama's unhappy terminology -- unclenching its fist.

President Obama promised "If countries like Iran are willing to unclench their fist, they will find an extended hand from us." Why then has the president "extended" his hand when Damascus is obviously on the war path?

Last month, Obama sent a congressional delegation headed by Senator John Kerry (D-Ma) to meet with Syrian President Bashar Assad. After that meeting Kerry said there are possibilities for "real cooperation" with Syria but in return Syria must "change its behavior." Then last week Obama's State Department hosted talks with Syria's ambassador hoping to "advance U.S. interests" but immediately President Obama authorized the Commerce Department to approve the export of U.S. components for Syria's fleet of aging Boeing 747 aircraft.

This is an outrage! Why is the UN still allowed to operate in the US? They should have been banned at least a decade ago. They have been increasingly irrelevant to the Free World since the Great Communist Collapse.

Now we know where out of power Communists and failed tyrants end up. Why should the US foot the bill for this kind of abuse? If they want to investigate criminal activity, this "top UN official" should know all about it since he is/was the friend of a Communist tyrant who used death squads and torturers to keep his peons in line. Isn't that right Senor Brockmann? You support killing people for disliking you and your friends? And you shift the blame to the people who would really like to help those same victims of your abuse?

I can crap stuff that is smarter than most UN "diplomats".

A top U.N. official accused the United States of committing inhuman "atrocities" in Iraq and Afghanistan during a speech Wednesday to the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva.

"The aggressions against Iraq and Afghanistan and their occupations constitute atrocities that must be condemned and repudiated by all who believe in the rule of law in international relations," said U.N. General Assembly President Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann.

D'Escoto claimed that U.S. actions have directly led to more than a million Iraqi civilian deaths since 2003, a vastly inflated figure that does not correspond with the U.N.'s own estimates.

The U.N.'s health and medical agency, the World Health Organization, says 151,000 Iraqis have died since the 2003 invasion. IraqBodyCount.org puts the death toll between 90,000- 99,245.

The Nazis have been trying to regain power since they had their butts kicked all those years ago. The failure of socialism to cure the woes of Eastern Europe after communism collapsed has only exasperated the issues that caused the rise of National Socialism in the first place. Something has to give soon or the West will collapse. I pray that we can survive that.

BERLIN (Reuters) - German police have launched a nationwide search of more than 200 homes and businesses of people suspected of belonging to the country's extreme right, the Federal Crime Office (BKA) said Wednesday.

"The primary aim of the concerted action by crime fighting authorities is to seize and confiscate prohibited items like music in order to move effectively and extensively against the spread of right wing extremism," the BKA said in a statement.

More than 60 years after World War Two and the Nazi Holocaust, right-wing radicalism is still a problem in Germany, particularly in the former communist eastern part of the country where unemployment is nearly double the rate in the west.

The BKA said last year that neo-Nazis appeared to have shifted their tactics and stepped up violent attacks. Government figures show anti-Semitic crimes rose at the end of last year.

The BKA said the search began earlier Wednesday and was being carried out in all 16 federal states. A BKA spokeswoman could not say for now if any arrests had been made.

Iranian IRGC Commander: Israel's Nuclear Installations Are Within Reach of Our Missiles

At a conference being held in Tehran in support of the Palestinians, the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Ali Aziz Jafari, said that if Iran is attacked it will deliver a forceful response, and added that the entirety of Israeli territory, including its nuclear installations, are within the range of Iranian missiles.

Operation Starfish

This is an old link, but I was discussing it with someone today and thought I should repost it to the front. Who wants to bet that Iran would love to EMP the US? Who thinks the world would be better off if the US fell?

http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2007/12/operation-starfish.html

On July 9, 1962, a high-altitude nuclear test named Starfish Prime was conducted by the United States military above Johnston Island in the Pacific Ocean. Its unexpected electromagnetic pulse (EMP) effects caused disruptions in electrical systems and equipment in Honolulu 700 miles away.

The EMP shut down long-distance telephone calls and disabled three satellites in low earth orbit. Radiation resulting from the test later destroyed a total of seven satellites by knocking out their solar arrays or electronics.

071205-emp-map.jpg

A massive current of EMP could be unleashed with catastrophic effect on the United States if a nuclear weapon were detonated high above the earth. The energy of this pulse would disable and possibly destroy any electronic device and power grid in line-of-sight of the detonation.

Mr. Bush also emphasized the linkage between the Iranian threat and missile defense, but Mr. Obama's overture reformulates it in a way intended to appeal to the Russians, who long ago soured on the Bush administration. Officials have been hinting at the possibility of an agreement in recent weeks, and Mr. Obama's proposal was reported on Monday by a Moscow newspaper, Kommersant.

"If through strong diplomacy with Russia and our other partners we can reduce or eliminate that threat, it obviously shapes the way at which we look at missile defense," Under Secretary of State William J. Burns said about the Iranian threat in an interview with the Russian news agency Interfax while in Moscow last month delivering Mr. Obama's letter.

Attending a NATO meeting in Krakow, Poland, on Feb. 20, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said, "I told the Russians a year ago that if there were no Iranian missile program, there would be no need for the missile sites." Mr. Obama's inauguration, he added, offered the chance for a fresh start. "My hope is that now, with the new administration, the prospects for that kind of cooperation might have improved," he said.

The idea has distressed Poland and the Czech Republic, where leaders invested political capital in signing missile defense cooperation treaties with the United States despite domestic opposition. If the United States were to slow or halt deployment of the systems, Warsaw and Prague might insist on other incentives.

For example, the deal with Poland included a side agreement that an American Patriot air defense battery would be moved from Germany to Poland, where it would be operated by a crew of about 100 American service members. The administration might have to proceed with that to reassure Warsaw.

http://jonathanstray.com/maine-man-tries-to-build-dirty-bomb

A leaked FBI report states that a man named James G. Cummings was trying to build a dirty bomb when he was shot and and killed by his wife last December 9th in Belfast, Maine. He had plans, parts, explosive ingredients, and small quantities of radioactive material, though nothing that could not be purchased legally within the US. Cummings was a white supremacist who was reportedly very upset about Obama's election.

The leaked document has been posted on Wikileaks since January 16th. While the material concerning Cummins was first noticed by the rumor site Unattributable.com on January 19th, only yesterday was there any sort of story about it in the mainstream media, in this case the local Bangor Daily News.

Although this dastardly plot was probably not much more dangerous to the public than a garden-variety bomb, this man would certainly qualify as a bona fide "terrorist" under Bush-regime logic. Or at least he would if he was Arab. In point of fact, he actually is a threat to the public, or was. So why haven't we heard about it? Are crazy white supremacists somehow less of a threat than crazy fundamentalist muslims?

Lets kill more babies! It works in Kansas, it will work in Chicago! Kill the unborn, free the terrorists! Kill, kill, kill!

Strongly pro-abortion Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has accepted President Barack Obama's request to serve as the Health Secretary. Sebelius has one of the most radical pro-abortion record of any elected official and a longstanding relationship with a late-term abortion practitioner.

White House officials told the New York Times as late as February 18 that Sebelius had emerged as Obama's leading choice for the position. Then, this week, they acknowledged that her pro-abortion record could cause problems for her nomination.

Obama's decision to allow word of his selection to lead ot the media first on a Saturday is designed to play down news coverage of his selection of a hardcore abortion advocate to lead his health care reform efforts and to implement his pro-abortion agenda.

He will make the announcement official on Monday at the White House.

As the health secretary, Sebelius could have an impact in crafting a health care plan that could cover abortions with taxpayer funds or require insurance companies to cover abortions in their plans.

Sebelius could also, if confirmed by the Senate, could also issue new regulations overturning the protections President Bush put in place that protect pro-life doctors and medical centers. The Obama administration announced Friday that it opened a 30-day comment period in preparation to do so.

Sebelius is most notorious for her close relationship with late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller, who has escaped prosecution and accountability thus far for allegedly repeatedly violating state abortion laws. However, a judge recently ruled charges against him from the state attorney general's office can move ahead.

He's done so in part because of the lax standards of Sebelius and her political allies, to whom Tiller has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars. Governor Sebelius vetoed a bill last April that the legislature approved that would have strengthened the state's limits on late-term abortions.

Why is it that so many of The One's henchmen are found to be criminals? It is unnerving to watch the "most open and honest" administration since the "most ethical administration ever" of the Clintons? Maybe I can get some cash together to buy a seat? I am not sure I am unethical enough to be a Democrat, but I can try! Who wants to bribe me?

I do take small and large amounts! I have a Cabinet position to buy!

The man who is President Obama's newly minted urban czar pocketed thousands of dollars in campaign cash from city developers whose projects he approved or funded with taxpayers' money, a Daily News probe found.

Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion often received contributions just before or after he sponsored money for projects or approved important zoning changes, records show.

Most donations were organized and well-timed.

In one case, a developer became a Carrion fund-raiser two months before the borough president signed off on his project, raising more than $6,000 in campaign cash.

In another, eight Boricua College officials came up with $8,000 on the same day for Carrion three weeks before the school filed plans to build a new tower. Carrion ultimately approved the project and sponsored millions in taxpayer funds for it.

Carrion resigned as borough president effective Sunday and begins his new job as director of the White House Office on Urban Policy Monday.
